The Bauer GSX Goalie Blocker is designed for the recreational goalie that skates 1-2 times per week. The GSX line provides the protection needed and performs at a good level for less competitive levels of hockey.
External Material
The blocking board on this blocker is made up from dual density foam. The dual density foam provides the blocking surface with an excellent layer of foam that is designed to direct pucks away while keeping goalies protected while making critical saves.
Side Hand Protection
The side plate on this blocker features a Supreme geometry. This refers to specific, rigid, and square-shaped designs that are aimed at optimizing rebound control and maximizing net coverage.
Palm Material
This year’s GSX line of blockers features a 14.5” gray Nash palm. This material is designed to offer a premium, high-performance replacement option focusing on superior grip, durability, and comfort. Nash material is known for being soft, yet incredibly durable, providing a “pro” feel that helps with stick handling and controlling rebounds.
Thumb Design
